Gwen and John planted the Syracuse Vineyard 30 years ago and have grown it into a multi-site church that has planted 13 other churches. John has also participated in translocal leadership, serving the Vineyard as an Area Leader, National Church Planting team member, Mission Partnership Leader, and as a Regional Leader for the last 10 years.

Is there more to church than just coming on Sunday, singing some songs, hearing a few helpful thoughts from a preacher, saying “Hi” to a few people, and then going home?

 

If you look at the early church in the book of Acts, the answer is... “YES!” The extraordinary way the early church lived started a movement – an invisible, faith-filled, Spirit-led, healing, freeing way of life that would change the course of history. So it can be with us!

 

Let's catch the vision for God’s Church and the life that He has for us as the people of God living by the power of the Holy Spirit. When we do, we will find not just personal healing, freedom, and joy, but will also change the world around us. Let’s join together this Sunday as we start our new study, “Extraordinary Life Together: The Church in the Book of Acts.”
