We continue this week in James 2 and talk about the lure and the sin of favoritism. Do we prefer those who are most like us? Do we discriminate or favor some people over others without meaning to? James does not disappoint as he helps us “keep it real” by examining our own hearts and how we can better love our neighbor.

 

We will also have a special testimony this week from one of our members regarding Disability Awareness Month.

James was the brother of Jesus and so in many ways he speaks with the same tone and attitude as the Lord Jesus. There’s a family resemblance. You will enjoy and be convicted by the practical wisdom that comes from the book of James.
